From a young age, I enjoyed entertaining friends, telling animated stories, and talking to people.  I never considered acting until a friend in high school asked me to audition with her for a school play. I won a principal role and discovered a joy for acting.  I also enjoyed public speaking and performed/ won monologue contests.  In university, I studied in London where I frequented many plays and musicals.  The more exposed to theater and actors I became, the more I wanted to act.  After graduating, I began taking acting classes and signed with talent agencies—earning credits in commercial, short film, theater, and spokesperson acting work. I still enjoy making people laugh and telling stories—through various art forms (music, art, acting). What I enjoy about acting is the opportunity to be expressive, work with imaginative peers, and portray the human experience.
